Tonight, DIME is proud to present the Roots of Rhythm and Raise Your Voice Final Performance!
The show starts at 8:00pm and is free and open to the public, so be sure to stop by and support our short course students!
We will also have a special performance by the Detroit School of the Arts Vision Male Ensemble Choir, who are raising money for their trip to perform in South Africa this summer!

George Clinton Masterclass and Performance with DIME Students is a Big Success!

The “Grandfather of Funk” himself, George Clinton, recently visited DIME Detroit for a masterclass and interview with drum instructor, Drew Schultz. After answering several questions from Drew and the audience, he performed “Up for the Down Stroke” and “Give Up the Funk” with DIME students! PAOLO NUTINI is performing a free event at DIME DETROIT on Monday 1st December, doors are at noon. The event is hosted by The River 93.9 FM. Stevie Wonder’s Band DIME Masterclass

DIME students and guests were treated to a visit by “Nate Watts and Friends”, which included many of the musicians playing later in the week with Stevie Wonder. The band discussed touring, musical direction, where they got their starts, versatility and more. The session concluded with performances by the band, where students jumped on stage to play alongside the world-traveling musicians.

USHER Visits DIME
