Returning to Chicago after living in LA, Phillip-Michael Scales decided to make music his full time job. Playing every gig that came his way resulted in over 200 in 2017. In between corporate, bar, and private events, he wrote and recorded dive bar soul record “Sinner-Songwriter” blending elements of blues, rock, and passionate lyricism. It’s rough around the edges but so is love. Now he’s celebrating the release with Chicago favorites, Mutts.
